I love singing locally, for all the people that I might pass by on pedestrian crossings, somewhere on the street, in church or local grocery. It’s always a form of giving the best I’ve got for the local ‘commonwealth’.
I’ve been living in Gdynia for almost 3 years now. During that time I’ve already performed on the occasion of Polish National Independence Day (3 years in a row – see here). Last year I also presented a cycle of Mieczysław Weinberg songs which I then recorded in Gdańsk (stay tuned for the upcoming release!).
This time I’ll be performing in the most significant (and the most visible!) church in my district: Franciscan Church on the st. Maximilian hill, twice with two completely different programms.
26.01.25 Christmas Carols with the local Choir ‘Symphony’
02.02.25 J. S. Bach Cantata BWV 82 ‘Ich habe genug’
Soon I’ll write more about the second concert. Let’s stay in touch!
